THE GENESIS OF GENESIS
In the beginning, Genesis was Genesis Weddings & Events. With 30+ years combined professional c-suite level experience developed in a variety of expertise (pastoral, human resources, community affairs, and health administration management), the partners, by demand, expanded their offerings to clients.
As Genesis plans events, they are not just events for the sake of events. But, we specialize in events that make personal and community impact – whether it is a small wedding, community informational luncheon, multi-day conference, sporting event, or banquet-style non-profit fundraiser, Genesis infuses creativity, excellence, and organization into the experience to ensure that it is right from the beginning. Through our relationships with our clients, we have seen where we can provide additional consulting services. Genesis helps churches, non-profits, and for-profit clients find ways to increase their effectiveness through program evaluation, capacity building, and niche marketing strategies.
Genesis is also committed to making an impact in the community we serve through Financial Security Advocacy and Education. We conduct financial workshops on budgeting, saving, avoiding predatory lending, and other topics. We also work with non-profit organizations, grassroots leaders, and for-profit financial service providers to find legislation, products, and services that help “Everyday Joe and Janice” to meet their financial goals.
